The staff at Building Drops is pleased to announce that Loriga will be in charge of overseeing the engineering department including the day-to-day operations as the Director of Engineering.

Loriga has several years of experience as a Structural Engineer in various professional backgrounds. Loriga has worked with Gulf Coast Engineering LLC, International Design Services Inc., GMF Industries Inc., SEP Engineers, Aardvark Automation Inc. and Emproy, to name a few. Due to his impressive and diversified career history, Loriga has had the opportunity to be a part of renowned large-scale projects such as the, I-4/Selmon Expressway Connector in Tampa, Florida, Coca Cola Auburndale Addition in Auburndale, Florida, Ortega River Bridge Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, Florida and Jet Blue Terminal Addition, New York.
Loriga went to school in Havana where he received his Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from CUJAE "Jose Antonio Echeverria University City." Loriga has also achieved his Professional Engineering license in the State of Florida. These qualifications have provided Loriga with in-depth knowledge of Structural and Civil Codes (U.S. Standards); the ability to use a wide range of computer software, such as SAP2000, Solid Works and SDS2; and substantial exposure to structural steel design and Fabrication/Erection processes.
Over the past months, Building Drops has been exposed to several projects, which require extensive steel expertise. As the industry shifts to accommodate such projects, Building Drops is taking a step in this direction by hiring a team of experts who will be managed and overseen by Loriga.
